Kristin and Brett are educators, and I think that is why we just clicked. Once a public school teacher, always a public school teacher. I enjoyed hearing about the planning and the excitement about their wedding day, and chatting about their virtual learning plans and sharing tips.
Impressed isn’t a strong enough word for describing how amazing they handled curve balls like COVID-19 or guests and special requests. They seemed to just roll with the punches and kept their eyes on the prize of being married.
As you can see both Kristin and Brett had great eyes for detail and really pulled together a beautiful day, full of people they loved and who made me laugh so hard. Yes, many faces were covered my masks, but people, you can see smiles in eyes.
I think one thing that really stuck with me as the day closed was how they both leaned on their families, and it was evident they both came from super close families and support systems. From special video calls from Brett’s dad who was unable to attend due to COVID-19 related issues, or Kristin’s grandma who looked like she was a bridesmaid with her dress, they loved on all their family members, near and far.
