I have had so many past students gracing my lens these days. I am used to senior sessions, and weddings, but now newborn sessions, BRB… I will be crying for a while.
Seeing young adults become parents and knowing that the bundle of joy is so loved, it makes my heart jump for joy. I was so excited to see Weston, son of David and Jenna. These two have a beautiful neutral home. I was so impressed by the paint colors of the nursery and the how rugs and blankets all matched.
Even the sweet puppy matches.
I am not sure David even knows this, but he gave me my first ever compliment as a teacher. About a week into my first year of teaching David, who has a very dry sense of humor, chuckled and said: “For being new you seem to really have things together.” As an enneagram 3, whose love language is around words, I about cried from happiness.
David, now I can say this to you: “For being new at this, YOU seem to really have things together.”
Cheers to the new baby, cute house, and cut wedding rings. I will save that story for Jenna to tell!
