My love language is photographs. Hugs and words of affirmation also feed my soul and make me feel grounded in love. Showing my clients love in the same way I feel cherished makes my job uncomplicated.

I believe in the honest emotion that comes from celebrations and will forever strive to capture these days in an enduring style that evokes joy.

When you look back on your images, I want you to see the sentiment, the moments you planned, and the intimate unscripted memories that come from all the joyful intentions.

I'm a midwest PHOTOGRAPHER

Amanda Burman

for the intentional couple with classic style.

She wasn’t just the photographer at our wedding, she gave advice, helped with our timelime, was ready with a tissue when the tears came, fixed hair, and captured the most amazing photos. Amanda truly is talented and has a gift for photography. We can’t imagine choosing anyone else to capture the most treasured moments from our wedding day. How lucky are we to get to enjoy these beautiful photos for years to come.

"She made us feel comfortable."

Love note from Evie:

She helped us so much throughout the entire process, which was especially helpful since we were planning our wedding from out of state! We were so grateful for her guidance throughout the entire planning process and when we met her officially on our wedding day we felt like we already knew her. She kept everything going smoothly and had us laughing and having fun during photos which could have otherwise been a stressful.

"She was the perfect photographer for our wedding."

love notes by Cat:

I am so thankful Amanda traveled to Virginia to be such a intimate part of our wedding day. She captured the most beautiful, honest, and genuinely priceless moments that you just want to hold on to. She made me feel so beautiful and made my husband feel so comfortable. Our wedding day flew by so fast, and she captured every single emotion we wanted to hold on to for years and years to come.

"You can tell she pours her heart into what she does."

Purdue University molded me into a teacher, then I spent ten years leading high school students through literature, journalism, photography, puberty, and design.

Since leaving the classroom I moved my educator skills to this platform and offer workshops on photography and courses to help new photographers.

Being an industry educator is more than sharing tips, it is about relationships, trust, and refining your skills, I would love to help.
