A Timeless November Wedding at The Ritz Charles | Lucy & Josh

The day began at the luxurious Hotel Carmichael, where Lucy and her bridal party got ready. The hotel’s elegant interiors provided a stunning backdrop for detail photos and added an extra layer of sophistication to the day. It was the perfect setting to capture those quiet, intimate moments before the festivities began.

As an Indianapolis wedding photographer, I’ve had the honor of documenting countless celebrations, but this one felt especially close to my heart. The couple chose a classic black-and-white color palette, accented with creamy warm pink tones that added a touch of softness and romance to the day. These hues were beautifully reflected in every detail, from the stunning floral arrangements to the subtle touches throughout the venue decor.

One of the highlights of the day was working with Sydney Brown Events for the first time. My connection with Lucy began years ago when we first met at a wedding—she as the videographer, and I as the photographer. We hit it off instantly, bonding over our shared love for storytelling through visuals. Over the years, we’ve cheered each other on in our creative journeys, so being part of her wedding day as her Indiana wedding photographer was an incredibly special honor.
