Chapter 1
Exposure
This chapter covers much of what you need to build a foundation of knowledge for shooting in manual. You must understand and know what each point of the triangle does, so ISO, shutter speed, and aperture come together to make sure your images look good, clean, crisp, and light. I will walk you through what each controls and show you how to find these numbers on your camera. Then, you have to learn to adjust each setting, so you know what buttons control each setting.

Focus
I love shooting in manual, but one thing I let my camera do for me is focus! I do pick my focus mode, then how many focus points I want, tell the camera where to focus, and for how long. This is not tricky, it is a skill of muscle memory and I will share all my settings and what that would look like on top brands like Nikon and Canon. You will also be introduced to back of camera focusing which has made my photography journey a good one especially when working with kids! I even give a quick lesson on composing images so you follow the rule of thirds!
